I try to live by the motto – Eat to live, not live to eat. There are times though were food is so enjoyable that you know you have past the line. That happened to me last Saturday as I sat at a restaurant eating one of my favorite meals, sushi, with a friend I hadn’t seen in over 9 years. We were celebrating three things at once. The foundation and work of Iron Rose Sister Ministries over the last 9+ months, the first simultaneously English and Spanish Iron Rose Sister conference being completed at Northwest Church of Christ, and my 36th birthday. It was wonderful to sit next, Michelle, the woman I cheerlead everyday and literally share one of the best meals I have had in a long time.
