In light of the recent turn of a new year, I took a moment to reflect on what I was personally most grateful for in 2013. While I could list many of the ministry accomplishments God made possible (which I did in yesterday’s blog post), the overwhelming sense of gratitude, for me, came through increased time with family.
Not only am I living with family, but my ministry schedule has afforded me the opportunity to spend more time with family in 2013 than I have been able to in years past. And for that, I am very grateful.
Some of you may not share in the blessing that is family and, for that, I am sorry. Either way, I encourage you to take an extra moment to spend quality time with family and friends – a decision we will never regret in the future.
