Snow is a beautiful thing that can give everything a fresh new look. It is also a great medium for skiing, snow-shoeing, and sledding. In Louisiana, it is a great excuse to get out of school and make a snowman, which is what we did in January 1988, days after my youngest sister was born.
There is still a sense of wonder that comes with white flakes falling to the ground. Each snowflake is unique and together with other flakes, makes a snowman, a snow-covered mountain, or a fresh path for walking.
As the body of Christ, we are each unique, like snowflakes, together making a beautiful and useful scene for many purposes.
