I'm in Iowa today visiting my Grandpa who turned 95 last month. He woke up this morning in the same room where he was born.
Every summer, we would drive up to Iowa and spend a week on the farm - feeding the pigs and any calves that needed a bottle, riding the tractor and the 4-wheeler, collecting fresh eggs, and eating sweet Iowa summer corn.
There are no longer any animals to tend to other than the barn cats that keep the mice at bay, but we still get to enjoy fishing on the pond. We plan to fish during this visit, but I don't know that Grandpa will make it out to the pond to observe in leisurely fashion like he did in this picture several years ago.
Don't worry, Grandpa. If we catch any fish, we'll certainly share them with you!
