Tickle-time, peek-a-boo, chasing around the house, throwing him up in the air… these are just a few of my nephew’s favorite activities.  He loves anything that makes him laugh and that laughter is contagious.

Kadesh never tires of being silly.  And the sillier we are with him, the happier it makes him.  I think it’s his greatest love language – to be given and received.  The silliness brings laughter and through that silly time together, he feels safe and loved.

In honor of Food & Family on Fridays, take a moment this weekend for some silly time with a child you know.  You will both be blessed and you’ll be reminded of the healing power of laughter.
