As I sit here in Baton Rouge, the homeland of Michelle, I can’t help but think back to our days in college. We were a little younger, a little more naïve, and a little better at overnight flyingJ. Our lives were on similar paths and looked as though we might even serve as foreign missionaries together but God had other plans. He took us to different parts of Latin America so that he could bring us back at the appointed time to work together as Iron Rose Sister Ministry. The ministry has grown and our friendship and work relationship has grown as well. There are times when we go at different speeds and other times when we have to hold off Satan together as he attacks personally and professionally. Although Michelle and I are very different, as far as height and shoe size, God chooses to use those differences for His glory as well.
As a testimony to the way God works, she is in LA, Latin America, meeting some of my closest sisters; I am in LA, Louisiana, meeting some of her closest sisters.
The past week, Michelle met Renata, a beloved sister and friend to the Forbess family.

Christ came to this earth and lived as an example for us so we have a pattern to follow. What areas of your life do you need help waking up to?
