March 20, 1991 was a Wednesday. I remember it clearly and it is forever marked in my calendar and my heart as the day my sister, Jenn, and I were born again. After church that night, dad baptized us both. After I came up out of the water, we sang "Jesus is Lord." I still remember that moment every time I sing that song. I wanted the song to serve as a reminder of who was Lord of my life from that day forward.
It's Throwback Thursday, a perfect time to look back to the day you were baptized and thank God for the growth He has made possible since that time.
If you have not yet died to self and put Christ on in baptism, I would love to talk with you about taking that step or putting you in touch with someone in the city you live that can talk with you.

Most of us don't have the blessing of waking up to a view of the mountains each morning. But when we get to see them, they are a majestic reminder of the beauty of God's creation. Today, I pray that you can remember that YOU are a majestic reminder of the beauty of God's creation.
"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy." (1 Peter 2:9, 10 NIV)
