I was 18 years old - a freshman at Harding University - on a campaign in San Cristóbal, Venezuela.  It was there I met a new young Christian, Inés Sosa.  Our friendship developed as we studied the Bible together both that summer and the year to follow.  I had not seen her in 20 or so years and yet here she was at the International Women's Conference teaching others about Christ!  We both have kids, both are mothers-in-law now and both love Jesus more than anything else.  I thank God for allowing me to be a part of the beginning of her walk with Christ!  Reach out to others - you never know what a difference you will make in their lives!

Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations. - Psalm 90:1

We moved a lot as I was growing up and my Mom used to say - everywhere is "home" because God is our "dwelling place."   We often get so used to our home, our bed, our things, but don't we often forget that we are "pilgrims" and that "home" is God! What a beautiful thought - in Him we are always HOME!

Cynthia Cedeño is Treasurer on the Board of Directors for Iron Rose Sister Ministries.  She has two sons, a daughter, and a daughter-in-law.  She is passionate about God, about teaching, and about being in the Word.
