After speaking with the woman at the well, Jesus told His disciples that He had food to eat that they knew nothing about (John 4:32). As 236 women gathered yesterday from 12 countries for the International Women's Conference, they tasted of the spiritual food and drink that was provided through the singing, the lessons, and the fellowship. What a blessing!
I was honored with the opportunity to share with them about Personal Unity with God. And I, too, was spiritually fed and nourished in hearing the way God used me to speak to them, encourage them and challenge them.
Food and Family on Fridays. That is definitely what is happening today. We will be partaking of a rich banquet of spiritual food with many sisters in Christ. Thank you for keeping us in your prayers!
Please also pray that the Humano Y Santo books will arrive on Saturday in time to bless the many women in attendance! (long story about why we don't have them yet)

I used to be a Girl Scout. I earned the badges, sold the cookies and advanced in the ranks from Brownie to Girl Scout. I remember a song we used to sing that has come to mind this week in preparation for the International Women's Conference being hosted at the Impact Church of Christ in Houston, Texas.
The song is short and sweet and goes like this:
Make new friends, but keep the old. One is silver and the other gold.
The reason it has been on my mind is that this weekend will be a reunion of sorts. There will be women from Colombia, Venezuela, and the US that I know from college, mission trips, prior speaking engagements, or the time I worked or lived in other places. I look forward to reconnecting with them and sharing with them about Iron Rose Sister Ministries.
I also anticipate meeting many women from multiple churches across Central and South America. I can't wait! Throughout the conference, we will have a table for Iron Rose Sister Ministries and will share the Humano Y Santo books, all God is doing through us and the resource we hope to be to their various works across the world. I also will be blessed with the opportunity to teach a class on Personal Unity with God this afternoon.
Please keep me in your prayers - that God will speak through me in the class, that I will connect with many women who can take Humano Y Santo back to their home congregations and be blessed by studying it together, and that God will work powerfully through all the speakers and opportunities at this conference.
