February is Prayer Month
Prayer Bears Fruit! James 5:13-18
February is Prayer Month! Thank you to the women who helped us kick off our Prayer Month through the trilingual virtual event on January 31st!
For those who have joined us in the past, you can testify to how prayer has borne fruit in Iron Rose Sister Ministries, especially through this month we always set aside to focus on prayer. If this is your first time, welcome! We invite you to celebrate with us the ways that you have seen prayer bear fruit in your family, your church, your community, and in your own life.
In James chapter 5, we see a promise echoed that Jesus Himself established: “The prayer offered in faith will…” (Jas 5:15; Mt 7:8, 18:19). Inspired by our 2026 theme, “Bear Fruit” (Jn 15), we are coming together as one voice in faith to bring before God these areas that are on our heart as a ministry. We place them in God’s hands, praying that His will be done and that our efforts bear fruit. Prayer bears fruit!
The admonition to “pray continually” (1Th 5:17) does not specify how we pray, therefore we can see this as an invitation to pray in a variety of ways on a variety of topics. The daily prompts in the calendar linked below can be a helpful way to listen to God’s heart (Bible verses referenced in the corner) and to join as one voice in these specific areas. Thank you for interceding on our behalf. Thank you for your partnership with us in prayer. In our prayers, we thank God for you and echo the prayers of thanksgiving we hear from equipped women across the Americas (2Co 1:11).
On Tuesday, February 24th, we will have a 24-hour Prayer-a-thon! From wherever you are, you can sign up for a 30-minute time slot to pray. Please sign up with your name and location so we can see everyone who will be praying that day!

January 2026 Prayer Updates:
- Praise and thanks for the end-of-year contributors that helped us bridge the 2025 financial gap! Ongoing prayers for the provision of monthly contributors for 2026 and beyond.
- Thanksgiving for the fruit borne in 2025 and the anticipation of the fruit the Lord will bear through us in 2026.
- God’s guidance, wisdom, and blessing in the preparation for the first Ambassadors Equipping Workshop, February 19-22.
- May God prepare the minds and hearts of the nearly 40 women who will attend, give them safe travel and health, and unite us in His mission to be accomplished over the weekend.
- Milan’s US visa was not approved, therefore we are praying that his Australian passport is ready before the February Ambassadors Equipping Workshop, so that Beliza can come with him and participate.
- May God be glorified through the Trilingual Virtual Event on January 31st that will serve as the kickoff for our February Prayer Month.
- May God speak through Michelle and the other speakers at the Cloverdale Church of Christ Ladies’ Retreat at the end of the month.
- Thankful for the women who have volunteered to write for the blog. We have more volunteers than weeks to assign! What a blessing to hear from women across the Americas as they share biblical truths and personal stories.
December 2025 Prayer Updates:
- Continued prayers for God’s provision to “Go Wider” and exceed our goals for the end-of-year fundraising campaign.
- Thanksgiving for the new monthly donors who are partnering with the ministry.
- Prayers for wisdom if we need to conduct any budget-related pruning—in the instance that our financial goals are not met. We are trusting the Great Provider to supply all our needs.
- Prayers for the IRSM team as we enter the new year, that God would guide and empower us to encourage others to “Bear Fruit” (Jn 15) in their lives.
- Thanksgiving for the ways Katie Forbess and Michelle Goff were able to serve, encourage, and equip women in Honduras at the BICA Institute in El Progreso and the Baxter Institute in Tegucigalpa. They also conducted an area-wide ladies' day with more than 500 women present! Michelle concluded the trip with a visit to Corquín to visit missionaries and teach a ladies' class for women who had studied some of the IRSM Bible study books. Fifty women were in attendance there with many first-time visitors!
- Prayers as Katie, Corinne, Michelle, and Lyndsay are preparing the final details for the Ambassadors Equipping Workshop in February. And, prayers for the Ambassadors who have been invited to participate in the workshop.
- PRAISE!!! Beliza's US visa was approved for her participation in the February Ambassadors Equipping Workshop. Prayers that baby Milan's paperwork/visa will come through in time.
