I think "one step at a time" has been my motto and my mantra for the past year or so. Each night, as I go to write in my prayer journal and reflect on my day, I seem to always come back to that thought. It is my reminder to not worry and recall that each day has enough trouble of its own. It is my permission to not beat myself up about things that didn't get accomplished today that I wish would have. It is a glimpse of grace and the abiding hope that I am not alone in taking these steps either.
So, on this Wake-up Wednesday, may you be reminded to take "one step at a time," to take a deep breath, and rest in God's promises.

Paul describes the church as a body in I Corinthians 12. He highlights the blessing of the fullness of Christ we can receive when "each part does its work" (Eph. 4:16). This past weekend was a testimony to that as a group of ladies came together to serve, work, and bless - each in their own unique way.
On this Transformational Tuesday, may we be transformed by what God can accomplish when each part does its work and allows others’ lives to be touched and transformed through service in community.
