I have been blessed with a very supportive family. The most recent evidence of this is the fact that the only two people who have officially signed up for a time slot for the Prayer-a-thon next Tuesday are my parents. Their unwavering support through prayer, through encouraging words, financial support, book edits… really in more ways than I can enumerate.
For their support, I am eternally grateful.
I also covet your support for the ministry and for the Prayer-a-thon on Tuesday, March 4th. Even if you are unable to commit to finding people to pledge $1 per minute for the time you have signed up to pray, please sign up for a 15 minute slot and pledge to pray!

You can comment on Facebook or on this post with the time slot that is most convenient for you, or you can sign up through the prayer-a-thon page on the website.
On the website, I have provided a list of the specific things we will all be lifting up in prayer at that time.
Thank you!
Mardi Gras is next week and one of the hubs of that festive occasion is New Orleans. So, today, I will take you back to a visit some students, my sister, Chrys, and I made to New Orleans in search of masks for our masquerade end-of-year banquet a short time later.
It seems like yesterday, but each of our lives have taken multiple turns since then. But, for a moment, may we reflect on the muddy Mississippi river, the beignets, Jackson Square musicians, and all of what New Orleans in the spring looks like… ok, maybe not ALL aspects of New Orleans.
